Dubstep is a genre of electronic dance music that originated in South London, England. It emerged in the late 1990s as a development within a lineage of related styles such as 2-step garage, broken beat, drum and bass, jungle, dub and reggae.
The Straight Up! team has been putting together the “Straight Up Dubstep!” compilation series since 2011 and today we are very proud to present the 14th volume of this highly successful compilation series. A 22 tightly coiled productions with overwhelming bass lines and reverberant drum patterns, clipped samples, and occasional vocals from some of the best exponents of this genre.
