We are very proud to introduce and officially announce the creation of our new sub-label “Playing With Monsters”. Since the birth of Straight Up! Music in 2009, one of our main goals was to not limit ourselves to the type of music we release but we always wanted to do it in an organized fashion so our fans don’t miss a beat.
With the continued growth and popularity of bass music, namely Trap music (and Dubstep), mixed with the amount of positive feedback we received releasing those genres on Big Alliance Records, we knew it was time to give them their on space and face.
Introducing, Playing With Monsters, the future of Bass music. We will be releasing key music from some of the best and most talented producers in the world. We won’t limit ourselves to just Trap, we will also release Dubstep, Glitch Hop, Rap and overall, just quality bass music.

Our first release is scheduled to be available at Beatport October 28, it will be the new EP from rising star Ricky Vaughn entitled “Wickedest Sound”, the EP will include 4 original tracks featuring collaborations with KO-Lition and DFace.
