He’s modest in his core, yet an exceptional passionate artist when performing and wanted at some of the best festivals and clubs. This deejay is working ambitiously and hard to give us his best beats these days. He’s got the look and feel of a true entertainer, destined to be onstage and making music. Adaro already has an impressive solo career and is one out of two in the award-winning Gunz For Hire.
Adaro has played on respective dance stages in the world. He has several hit records on his name and always searches for the best mix between lyrics, beats, melodies and vocals. We can expect a lot more hit records to come and until then, we will hear his past records through the stereos.

When several hardstyle legends name you as the biggest upcoming talent, it is obvious there’s a lot more in store for his fans and hardstyle lovers in the near future. Yet it seems Adaro has already passed the feature of upcoming talent. He just is today’s talent and nothing less.
SUM: What’s up! thanks for taking the time to talk with us, How’s been 2013 so far for your career?
It has been a great year. So much highlights!! Last weeks were the best in my career. A sold out “Thrillogy” that rocked so hard it was unbelievable and I was chosen in the DJ Mag Top100 by the Hardstyle fans as new entry on nr 75. I am so thankful for that!
SUM: Tell us how “Adaro” came to be? How would you define your style and who/what are your musical influences?
Adaro:I’ve been a music lover all my life and produced and played all sorts of Dance music. The guise Adaro, I chose this for hard style when I started to concentrate on that. I started producing hard style seriously when the music became a bit harder, around 2008. My style I would define as the harder side of hard style, some people like to call it Raw Hardstyle.
My musical influences come from all sorts of music, also outside of hard style.
SUM: I don’t think anyone would argue that “Answers Remix” is your best track to date. Please describe shortly the creative process of that track, what inspired you and what tools you used Software/Hardware that helped you to do this original production a reality?
Thanks, great to hear you like it! The remix for that track was planned already about 2 years ago. But I didn’t have time for it at the time. Well, a remix to me is almost the same like producing a solo track. Only some parts will remain of the original, but it has to become a new track in the Adaro style, but with respect to the original. I have a basic idea, start working on that and in the working flow I get new ideas and the track starts to get a life of its own.
The final track doesn’t remind anymore of the basic idea haha. That also happened with this one, you start freaking around and with an open mind you come to new ideas.
My favorite synth is my Virus TI, and I used in this track also sylenth1, fm8 and massive for the sounds. Furthermore a lot of plugins I always use are used like Fabfilter Q, Saturn and the Soundtoys bundle.
SUM: How many hours a day do you see yourself doing your magic in your studio?
Adaro: Mostly like 10-12 hours per day.
SUM: What feels more rewarding for you, music production or Djing?
Adaro: I am a producer from the start, that will always be my first love. But DJing also gives me a lot of satisfaction.
SUM: What is the best or the craziest memory you have from a live event?
Adaro: One of the best moments was last weekend, at Thrillogy my youth hero Paul Elstak came on stage to play Thrillseeka. This meant a lot for me !
SUM: So far what you think has been the highlight of your career?
Adaro: Thrillogy and Qlimax as Adaro and some great moments with Gunz For Hire like Hardbass and Defqon1.
SUM: What is your take on this digital world we are living in? and what is your take on music piracy?
Adaro: It’s not fair for guys who don’t perform but only produce. They cannot make a living anymore and have to stop producing. But I think there is nothing to do about it, and it also has good sides. People can listen to your music everywhere now.
SUM: If you had the opportunity to collaborate with one artist of any music genre, who would it be and why?
Adaro: I think I would like to take a look in the studio of Axwell, my favorite producer. And dr Dre of course
SUM: DjMag #75, how do you feel and what do you have to say to the poeple that voted for you?
Adaro: I think it is unbelievable, it shows that hard style fans are really dedicated! I would like to thank each and everyone who voted for me!! It’s all thanks to to you !!
SUM: Would you rather have accordions for legs or have a huge belly button 10 inches long that swayed to the beat of popular music?
Adaro: Huge belly
SUM: Would you rather find true love or 10 million Euros?
Adaro: I already have true love, so then 10 million haha
SUM: If you knew that everyone you know was going to die tomorrow, who would you visit today?
Adaro: My family, my girl and my friends
SUM: Other than music, what is the thing that you love the most?
Adaro: Movies and Boxing
