The Kickstarts is the project of DJs and Producers André Dazzo and Thiago Grazioli. Professionals with exceptional technics and creativity, both are already long dated renomated inside Brazil and overseas.
When they got the first chance of being inside a studio together, they decided to create The Kickstarts , sure that a infallible partnership was being born to create vibrant tracks, full of groove and explosive melodies.
In the past years, André and Thiago were featured on the main festivals and clubs line-ups, and now with ‘’The Kickstarts’’ , they are on a quest to conquer the global dance floors.
SUM: Hi Guys, thanks for giving us a moment, how’s this year treating you so far ?
We are very happy with everything that is happening in 2014, mainly because now, Brazil has a very strong EDM scene, it’s incredible to see huge festivals here.
SUM: What is a typical day in town for the Kickstarts ?
For now we are focused on producing new songs, we had no much studio time in the last 12 months due to the large number of gigs we did.
SUM: Nearly a year has passed since the massive release of the single “Freaks” and now you are coming back to Big Alliance with another smashing single , what can you tell us about it ? , what can the fans expect ?
We always had a very good relationship with the Big Alliance, is a label that has always believed in our music, we like them a lot. About the track, wait for something ‘’Psyco’’, ready to the dance floor as” Freaks” we did something special, our fans are always asking us for new sounds, we are sure that everyone will love it :)
SUM: Do you get along all the time, or are there times where you can’t see each other in the studio?
We have our differences, but we use it in favor of creativity to make the songs, working in collaboration requires more effort, but overall we always understand each other, respect each other’s ideas, and we learned a lot together
SUM: When was the last time you went to an EDM concert or event as a fan? Not as a Dj?
We have a very active nightlife, we go to clubs to have regular contact with the crowd, is a practical way to understand what the public expects of us when we are on stage. But if ya wanna know the last concert we went, it was Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, and as always they rocked the place.

SUM: How do you see Electro House evolving the coming 5 years?
We believe that is going to become very poppy
SUM: If you had the opportunity to collaborate with one artist, who would it be and why?
Max Martin, Liam Howlett and Axwell, because this guys have the true Midas touch
SUM: What is your biggest passion apart from music, tell us a bit more about you as a person.
Andre: I love to cook and blend flavors, cooking is my second passion
Thiago: I love my rollerblade, skating is like therapy, freestyle slalom skating is my second passion
SUM: Which cartoon did you like the most when you were kids and why?
Andre: SpongeBob of course, how dare you ask? hahaha
Thiago: Woody Woodpecker, because it still makes me laugh :D
SUM: What is the more risky and fun thing you have done in your life?
live in airports, roads, shows, hotels, has been one of the most fun and dangerous things we have experienced, but obviously we love it
SUM: If you lived in a superhero universe, would you be a super hero or a super villain? why?
We prefer to be Super Heroes at the end of the movie, we’ll always be with the pretty girl hahaha
SUM: Whats is new for The Kickstarts , what are the plans for the rest of the year ?
For now we can not tell, but be assured that the plans are great, wait and see;)
